Why Complete-IO Trainers?

Studies demonstrate frequent malposition, placement delays, and short functional lifespan of IO’s in pediatric patients - especially infants and young children.

COMPLETE-IO was developed to address a gap in IO training with the goal of improving critical vascular access skills when patients need it most.

Our team has developed the most realistic intraosseous (IO) training experience for the
distal femur and proximal tibia in infants and pediatric patients. COMPLETE-IO features:

  • Visual and palpable anatomic landmarks
  • Realistic tactile feedback during drilling and infusion
  • Novel "fail indicators" for immediate learner feedback
  • Designed for high-volume training and simulation
  • Highly reusable & durable trainers
  • Complete procedural training from landmarking to infusion of medicine & fluid
